Chilli Sound is the creative hub of South Australian-based composer, sound engineer, producer, musician and all-round chilli enthusiast Tim Cheel.

A classically-trained musician in violin and viola beginning at the age of three, Tim is always willing to challenge himself with new creative projects, taking an open-minded and adaptive approach across a variety of musical genres.

Illustrating this ability to work uniquely on his own, or in a collaborative environment, Tim’s work has so far appeared in different mediums such as the feature film Crew Cut, the documentary Barbecue, plus the video games Bithacker and Hollow Knight.

Undertaking his tertiary level study in music at the University of Adelaide, Tim has completed a Diploma in Music (Sound Engineering) and a Bachelor of Music Studies (Sonic Arts), while also spending time at the Adelaide Elder Conservatorium of Music learning under Head of Strings Keith Crellin.

Tim has previous experience working as a music instructor with the South Australian Music and Art Academy, as an audio composer for NextFaze and an audio technician for JP Light and Sound.
